THE PROCESS

DESIGN

Each Diomy Terán bag begins in the imagination of a Wayuu artisan. The designs aren’t mass-produced-they’re deeply personal. Every pattern, shape, and color palette is chosen by the Indigenous creator to reflect their own stories, beliefs, or landscapes. No two bags are ever the same.

SELECTION

We work directly with Wayuu women in La Guajira, Colombia, selecting bags that represent the full spectrum of their cultural identity. Each one is entirely unique-woven without templates, guided only by memory and tradition. The result is a curated collection where every piece feels intentional and one-of-a-kind.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

These aren’t just bags-they’re woven histories. Using ancestral techniques passed down for generations, each Wayuu woman handcrafts her bag over several days or even weeks. Every stitch is placed with care, every thread dyed with purpose. What you carry is not just a product, but the soul of a community.
